I have been getting pizza from here since I moved back to Oakland 12 years ago and the quality has always been consistent and for the price, you get a pretty awesome pie. I got a two topping this evening for around $13 and it was just as amazing as I remember and it came in about 15 minutes (granted I live five minutes away).
So good , i've been coming here ever since i was a kid. I try to put all my friends on and they agree . The pizza is so tasty and savory , going to go get some right now bc it made my mouth water just writing this review. Don't listen to the negative reviews , try it for yourself and fall in love w the place like the rest of my family and i have .
I confused about the reviews. This West Oakland shop is right by my gym, Planet Fitness. I stopped in to grab a slice, and the slice, cut in half was more like two pieces, very good and cheesy, and didn't taste like it had been sitting there for days, but very fresh. I got a coke, and the whole thing was $2.50. Don't tell anybody, or it will become the place people cross the bridge to stand in line for.
If you look at my dumpster, (dominos) review you'll see the difference. Pizza Love in Oakland delivered this medium pizza warm, delicious, and stacked with meat for $15. There's just no way to beat the taste, qualify, and price of a pl pizza! If you haven't already, I strongly encourage you to get your hands/mouths on one of these asap!
Order: Large cheese pizza Cesar Salad 2 sodas Total with tip: $17 Order arrived EARLY!!!!!! Taste: Crust was yummy and plump but only on the crust side. It was pretty flat where the pineapple and mushrooms were. Red sauce was good. Not very seasoned but I still tasted it. The salad was HUGE and came with a nice amount of toppings. My order was delivered early!! The driver called me when he was outside. You get what you pay for and I was on a budget!!
